Korff Enterprises, Inc. was founded in 1978 to own and produce one of the first women’s professional tennis tournaments, the A&P Tennis Classic in Mahwah, NJ. During the tournament’s 25 year history, the event attracted 60,000+ spectators, received worldwide media coverage and became a trendsetter in the tennis space. The tournament grew to include three nights of concerts, a chili cook-off, 5K runs, and other complimentary events, many of which were adopted by the U.S. Open. The success of this event earned John Korff the honor of being one of Tennis Magazine’s 50 Most Influential People in Tennis.

Korff Enterprises, Inc. is now based in New York City and specializes in creating and producing world class events. The company currently owns and organizes the 13th Annual Aquaphor New York City Triathlon -- one of the world's largest Olympic distance triathlon, a charity golf tournament for Foodland Supermarket's on the North Shore of O'ahu and in partnership with Promo 1, the Quick Check New Jersey Festival of Ballooning -- America's largest summertime balloon and music festival. Korff also works with New York Road Runners to coordinate all of the on-course entertainment for the ING NYC Marathon and other local road races.

In August of 2012, Korff Enterprises was responsible for bringing the IRONMAN U.S. Championship to the tri-state area. The 140.6 mile race consisted of a 1.2 mile swim in the Hudson River, 112 mile bike on the Palisades Interstate Parkway and a 26.2 mile run over the George Washington Bridge to the finish line in Riverside Park, NYC. This historic event required over 8 years of preparation and coordination with over 36 municipalities in New Jersey and New York state as well as every New York City agency.

Korff also handles many events for LIVE! with Kelly and Michael, such as their annual High Heel-a-Thon in Central Park, and the Run Across America with Dean Karnazes, where ultramarathon runner Dean Karnazes ran 3,000 miles in 74 days to benefit the charity Action for Healthy Kids.

In the past, the company has managed sponsorship activations at several pro golf events in Hawaii. The company also staged the U.S. Olympic Triathlon Trials in 2004 in Honolulu Hawaii -- the first privately organized Olympic Trials for any U.S. Olympic sport and the first Olympic event held in Hawaii. Korff Enterprises, Inc. helped found the JAL Honolulu Triathlon in 2005 and co-organized the ITU World Triathlon Championships in Honolulu in 2005.
